A Favorite Special Needs Dentist in Las Vegas

Often, children with special needs experience difficulties at the dentist. They may have trouble sitting still or keeping their mouth open; they may experience overwhelming anxiety or heightened sensitivity to lights, sounds, and smells. Our dental anesthesiologists can help prepare your child for their dental procedure by administering gentle sedatives or anesthesia to make sure the process is safe and successful. We’re considered to be parents’ favorite special needs dentist in Las Vegas because, in addition to helping your child maintain their beautiful smile, we also provide education and training to parents on how to best practice oral hygiene at home.

Our dentists for special needs children have experience working with thousands of patients with special needs. We can work with patients with all sorts of special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental delays. We are happy to work with parents to make sure that your child is safe and comfortable throughout their entire visit. Our dentists are your ally in helping you to help your child!

Special Needs Scholarships

Children’s Dentistry of Las Vegas wants to help remove some of the barriers that prevent patients from receiving proper dental care. Routine dental care is vital for all children, and scheduling regular appointments for cleanings and dental x-rays can help with the early identification of cavities, tooth decay, and crowding that may require an orthodontist. That’s why we’re pleased to offer a $1000 scholarship that will be applied towards dental treatment for those meeting the following requirements:

  • The patient must have Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or another intellectual disability.

To see if your child qualifies to see a Las Vegas special needs dentist through this program, please submit the following information via our online contact form to be considered for this scholarship. Include the following information:

  • Your disability (if a guardian is filling out this form, please note the disability).
  • What dental services you’re going to apply the $1000 scholarship towards.
  • A little bit about yourself and your circumstances.
